ARE YOU A BROKER?

No. Darkanu is not a third party broker. We own and operate our own vehicles and employ our own professional drivers.

WHAT ARE YOUR FARES?

Adult- one way- $16
Adult- round trip- $27
Children ages 2-10- $7*
Children under 2- Free*
10 Trip tickets- $130
34 Trip tickets- $300

*When accompanied by an adult, children under 2 years of age not occupying a seat to the exclusion of other passengers may ride free. Children under 2 years of age occupying a seat to the exclusion of other passengers pay the regular adult fare. Children between the ages of 2-10 not occupying a seat to the exclusion of other passengers, pay only half the adult fare.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING TICKETS AND TRANSFERS?

Round trip tickets are valid on any trip, from any way. They do not expire and can be transferred to immediate family members only. However, they cannot be used for the same ride and shared between two people.
10 trip tickets are transferable to anyone and are valid on every trip, from any way.
34 Trip tickets are valid for 30 days only from the date of purchase. It can be used only by the purchaser and is not transferable to anyone.

DO YOU REFUND LOST OR STOLEN TICKETS?
All tickets have no cash value and Darkanu will not replace or grant refunds for tickets that have been lost, stolen or in such damaged condition that they are unreadable.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ABOUT BAGGAGE BROUGHT ON TO THE BUS?

A passenger’s personal baggage shall be transported in the same vehicle with the passengers, subject to available accommodations. No additional charge will be made for the transportation of baggage. The Company assumes no liability therefore. Baggage is not checked. Darkanu assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage and contents.

ARE ANIMALS OR PETS PERMITTED ON THE BUS?

Dogs, cats and other live animals are not permitted on any Darkanu buses. However, a service animal, used for the purpose of accompanying a disabled person, will be permitted to travel with the disabled person at no additional charge. This animal must be under the control of its owner at all times and must ride in the customer’s space. The animal may not travel in the bus aisle or occupy a seat. Darkanu reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers, Darkanu personnel or contractors.

HOW DO I REACH YOU IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY WHEN YOUR OFFICE IS CLOSED?

Call 1-917-676-3020 and speak to Mr. Steinberg or 1-347-680-1299 for Mr. Schwartz.

WHERE DO I CALL IF I LOST SOMETHING ON THE BUS?

All inquiries for lost, unchecked articles such as umbrellas, hats, etc. transported in the custody of passengers should be made within (10) days at this office: 20 Kelmwoods Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701- 732-370-5060.

CAN I VISIT YOUR OFFICE IN PERSON?

Absolutely. We welcome clients to come in and see our operation and our equipment.

WHAT ABOUT OBJECTIONABLE PERSONS?

Darkanu reserves the right to refuse to transport any person or persons under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or who is incapable of taking care of himself or herself, or whose conduct is such or is likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers. Exception: Provisions of this item do not apply to persons who are ill and accompanied by an attendant or nurse.


DOES YOUR COMPANY HAVE ITS OWN MAINTENANCE PROGRAM?

Yes. Unlike some other motor coach companies, Darkanu has a unique maintenance program. All of our buses are being checked by certified mechanics. We are subject to routine and random inspections.

CAN YOU PROVIDE A VALID INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WITH THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF INSURANCE?

Yes. Upon request you will be issued a certificate of insurance with policy coverage.

CHARTERS


WHAT COSTS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE CHARTER?

The group is responsible for, when applicable, parking fees, permit fees, driver’s room, and taxi fares for driver to and from hotel to parking area for driver. • It is recommended that you ask about motor coach parking when you reserve your hotel.


DO I NEED TO TIP THE DRIVER?

The driver’s gratuity is not included in the cost of the charter, unless otherwise noted. Tipping is optional, however it is customary. As a guideline, the average gratuity is 15% of the cost of the charter.

WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT?

We require a 25% deposit, at time of booking.


WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE?

You balance is due 7 days prior to the trip departure date.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We require a 30-day advance notice of cancellation in order to refund 100% of your payments.

HOW SOON SHOULD I BOOK?

Availability is a factor used in determining your rate; therefore you should book as soon as you know your dates.


DO I NEED TO BOOK THE HOTEL ROOM FOR THE DRIVER?

Yes. It is the groups responsibility to reserve and pay for the driver’s room. Rooms are reserved as singles. Drivers do not share rooms.

IS THERE TAX ON TRANSPORTATION?

No there is not tax on transportation

CAN YOU EAT OR DRINK ON THE MOTOR COACH?

Unlike some companies we do allow eating and drinking on the motor coaches. We do not allow glass and we expect the group to clean up after themselves.
